We have a cafe in Wellington, during the summer months we have always been plagued by flies. The pest control company we use have said there's not a lot we can do to control the flies in an open space such as ours.

Whereas before we spent a lot of energy keeping flies away from our cakes/scones etc, now we light a candle set it near the food display and the flies give the area a very wide berth. The Green Reaper people also put me on to their spray which I spray twice a day on the door frames and backs of chairs and table edges.
